The Orcas Community Resource Center (OCRC) invites proposals from qualified contractors to

develop and implement initiatives that strengthen support for the LatinX community on Orcas

Island. The selected contractor will assist in providing Spanish-language services, designing

and piloting programs that reduce barriers, improve health outcomes, and foster equitable

well-being for underserved Spanish-speaking households.

OCRC’s mission is to foster a healthy community by connecting Orcas Islanders with services to

thrive and achieve equitable well-being. Spanish-speaking households often face language and

systemic barriers that prevent full access to essential services. This initiative aims to address

these challenges and build sustainable support systems.

• Cover Letter - briefly describe the contractor’s qualifications and interest in the project.
